Job Description
- Perform appropriate studies / packaging / layouts.
- Prepare basic hand calculations and flag needs for deeper analysis.
- Propose design & program next steps.
- Develop design criteria and typical sections.
Qualifications
- BE / BSE in mechanical engineering, aeronautical engineering, or similar.
- Materials specifications & stock part selection knowledge.
- MS Office (Excel, and PowerPoint) is your daily work companion.
- Independent mindset.
- Introduction level CAD modeling (SW, Catia, NX, CREO) with willingness to learn.
- Good communication skills.
- Creativity.
Preferred Qualifications
- GD&T knowledge.
- CAD expert.
- Apply 3D GD&T (PMI) to CAD.
- Create 2D drawings.
- Automotive seating or interiors experience.
- Strong experience designing automotive plastics, foam, and stamped structures.
