We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Heavy Civil Superintendent to oversee and manage our projects including drainage, stormwater, wastewater and bridges.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil construction, with specific expertise in these areas.
Responsibilities :
- Provide leadership and direction to construction crews and subcontractors on-site.
- Ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety protocols.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure project success.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
- Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements :
- At least 15 years of experience in heavy civil construction, with a focus on drainage, stormwater, WWTP, and bridges.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects from start to finish.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and techniques.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and solve problems efficiently.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications.
- OSHA 30-Hour certification preferred.
