We’re seeking a skilled and experienced family law paralegal to support our growing legal team. The ideal candidate for this position will use their work experience and organizational skills to prepare and maintain legal documents, file motions, interview clients, and conduct legal research.

Compensation :
$50,000 - $65,000 yearly DOE
Responsibilities :
- Prepare legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings such as complaints, interrogatories, subpoenas, deposition notices, pretrial orders, legal briefs, and affidavits, under the supervision of a lawyer
- Organize our case filing systems to ensure all documents are properly sorted and easy to locate, and other administrative duties as needed
- Coordinate law office activity, including the drafting subpoenas and coordinating with process servers
- Gather information about legal issues from the client in interviews
- Aid lawyers in trial preparation by preparing and organizing exhibits, organizing and coordinating witnesses, conducting research on legal articles, and assisting with client meetings and filing motions
Qualifications :
- Must have strong interpersonal skills and talent for writing and grammar
- 3 years of experience in legal services under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm setting
- Candidates should possess high-level organizational skills, and time-management skills
- Familiarity with Clio; Westlaw FormBuilder and Excel preferred
- Must have experience dealing with emotional clients
- Candidates should excel at managing caseload and meeting billable hour requirements
