Job Description :
Systems Technology & Research, Inc. (STaR) is searching for an Integrated Logistics Support Analyst in the Huntsville, Alabama area supporting a customer on Redstone Arsenal.
An ideal candidate will be focused on providing logistics expertise to assist in communications between the Logistics Management Division, Technical Management Division, and Product Office teams and who can work independently supporting special projects in all areas of technical design, fielding, and sustainment of aviation weapons systems.
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Review and provide input to Project Office program documentation, including but not limited to the Acquisition Strategy, Capability Development Document, Capability Production Document, Cost Analysis Requirements Description, Independent Cost Estimate, Program Protection Plan, Systems Engineering Plan, and Test and Evaluation Master Plan.
- Provide support in the development of acquisition related documentation, to include but not limited to Statements of Work (SOW), Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL), Data Item Description (DID), work breakdown structures, Integrated Master Schedules, and lifecycle cost estimates, as it relates to the acquisition of IPS requirements.
- Shall develop, implement, and maintain current comprehensive product support strategies for the specific weapon systems.
- Use appropriate predictive analyses and modeling tools to develop COAs for the Government consideration of ways to improve material availability and reliability, increase operational availability rates, and reduce operation and sustainment costs.
- Analyze and assess materiel system requirements and translate requirements into discrete engineering and logistics support documentation
- Develop, implement, and maintain current required logistics related statutory and regulatory required program documentation, to include but not limited to LCSP, Core Logistics Determination Estimate, Core Logistics and Sustainment Workloads Estimate, Independent Logistics Assessment, Item Unique Identification (IUID) Plan, Preservation and Storage of Unique Tooling Plan, and Replaced System Sustainment Plan
Qualifications / Experience :
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience.
- Familiarity with Materiel Fielding requirements governed by AR 700-2.
- Familiarity with Army Aviation systems design and sustainment in accordance with the 12 Product Support Elements (PSE) for lifecycle sustainment planning.
- Experience fielding one or more Army platforms to gaining unit(s) to include property transfer.
- Experience developing, delivering and / or experience reviewing at the strategic level. documents such as : Life Cycle Sustainment Plans, Materiel Fielding documentation, Materiel Release documentation, Soldier Operator Procedures and / or Technical Publications.
- Experience developing Logistics Product Data (LPD) for Aviation weapons systems.
- Working knowledge of desktop applications including word processing and spreadsheets.
- Must have an Active Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
