Key Responsibilities :

• Lead Group Fitness Classes : Instruct group classes, such as Zumba, Water Aerobics, and Yoga.
• Develop Workout Programs : Create and implement individualized and group fitness programs that cater to clients' diverse needs and goals that are fun, safe, and effective for overall health improvement.
• Instruct and Demonstrate Exercises : Teach clients the proper techniques for various exercises, ensuring they are performed correctly to avoid injuries.
• Motivate and Support Clients : Provide encouragement, support, and motivation to help clients stay on track and achieve their fitness goals.
• Maintain Equipment : Ensure all fitness equipment is in good working condition, report any malfunctions, and follow up on repairs.
• Ensure Safety : Supervise clients to prevent accidents or injuries, provide first aid if necessary, and enforce gym rules and regulations.
• Stay Updated : Continuously update knowledge of fitness trends, techniques, and equipment through professional development and certifications.

Qualifications :

• Certifications : Certified Fitness Instructor, CPR / AED certified (American Council on Exercise, National Academy of Sports Medicine, or equivalent).
• Experience : Previous experience as a Fitness Instructor teaching group classes.
• Skills : Strong knowledge of exercise physiology, kinesiology, nutrition, and anatomy. Excellent communication, motivational, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work with a diverse clientele.

Working Conditions :

• Environment : Indoor / outdoor, pool, cool and hot conditions.
• Hours : Flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on client needs.

Physical Requirements :

• Must be physically fit, able to perform and demonstrate exercises, and capable of standing for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull equipment and weights.

Reports To : Recreation Manager
