Role : Accounting Associate
Location : Mundelein, IL
Position Type : Direct hire
Salary : $55k-$60k

Job Responsibilities :
Code and process invoices and check requests
Processes AP invoices and expense reports for payment
Research and resolve discrepancies associated with invoices
File and maintain accounting records, including hard copies and electronic versions
Perform account reconciliations
Receive checks and deposit to bank
Perform accounting and bookkeeping clerical functions
Keying and / or importing journal entries to the general ledger
Reconcile general ledger accounts
Performs month end account reconciliations
Perform filing and other general administrative tasks
Requirements :
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance is required
One year of Accounting Experience required
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Sound organizational skills with attention to detail
Working knowledge of accounting practices and procedures
Demonstrated analytical skills and problem solving
Ability to work in a high volume fast pace environment
