Brief Summary of Work for this Position
- Assists and leads academic-based and recreational activities for individual and group participation during school field trips and weekend programming to the MarineQuest lab, local field sites, or at schools.
- Supports organization and program preparations for school programs at the MarineQuest lab.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Two years completed in STEM-based undergraduate degree program or equivalent.
Preferred Education, Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Knowledge of marine sciences or engineering
- Experience teaching PreK-12 students
- Completion of bachelors degree or equivalent
Required Certifications or Licensure
- Lifeguard Certification
- First Aid and CPR Certification
- Ability to drive a state vehicle
