EXECUTIVE SUMMARY CHIEF COMPLIANCE OFFICER
Overview : Reporting to Tufts University Senior Vice President for University Relations and General Counsel, the newly created position of Chief Compliance Officer will oversee and manage the University’s compliance function and compliance risk.
The CCO will work in a consultative and collaborative manner with other established compliance functions throughout the University and provide leadership in managing complex compliance obligations associated with a top-tier academic and research institution.
Experience : The successful candidate will have significant experience leading or helping to lead the compliance function within large complex organizations, and at least ten years of compliance experience.
Experience at a research university is strongly preferred, although not required. The position requires an accomplished individual with a distinguished compliance professional record, regardless of industry background.
A legal background is strongly preferred but not required.
Location / Relocation : Medford, Massachusetts. Hybrid in office schedule. Remote candidates will not be considered.
Compensation : Competitive base salary and exceptional benefits will be offered commensurate with experience.
