Job Description
OVERVIEW :
The Sponsor is looking for a team of experienced resources to plan, provide IT Asset management support, and custodian support.
The team comprises a team of four contractors and one working team lead. The Contractor is required to travel to various Sponsor’s site(s) to conduct asset management functions on Sponsor’s and missions partners IT equipment and to provide encrypted secure devices support when needed.
GENERAL DUTIES :
Manage and improve the existing Asset management environment with best practices, policies, and procedures.
Perform property management duties such as IT hardware and equipment accountability.
Perform IT inventory checks of all IT assets, Sponsor’s and mission partners IT equipment, periodically, semi-annual, and annually to ensure devices are present.
Coordinate the installation schedule for IT equipment with mission partners and service provider(s).
Process, track, and generate reports on all IT assets utilizing Sponsor’s property management system(s) to include but not limited to Products Services Catalog, ServiceNow, Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), and enterprise service tools.
Coordinate and interface with representatives from various service providers to identify and resolve asset inventory issues.
Check end encrypted secure devices for connectivity.
Perform encrypted secure devices re-keying items such as uploading the latest key and track the end devices with Sponsor’s mobile fill devices.
Zero out encrypted secure devices end devices and remove them from network racks, transporting devices when needed, and perform updates.
Assist mission partner personnel with locating items, performing surveys or reading alerts and alarms on their encrypted secure devices equipment.
Supervise personnel who monitor and maintain computer equipment, develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and processes.
Generate ad-hoc reports, staffing schedules ensuring there is adequate team coverage during core work hours.
Required Skills
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :
Requires Bachelors with 7-10 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 5-8 of prior relevant experience. Additional years of experience can be accepted in lieu of a degree.
Demonstrated experience preparing and generating asset management reports.
Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Demonstrated experience in developing and enforcing process changes and improvements.
Demonstrated experience in creating transactions for IT assets between mission partners and accounts.
Demonstrated experience in performing physical inventories of IT assets and conducting IT inventories for decommissions.
Demonstrated experience with IT service delivery tools.
Demonstrated experience performing secure communications Custodian activities and tasks to include but not limited to :
Ordering, issuance, and destruction of encrypted secure device key material Rekeying encrypted secure device(s) when requirement arises
Tracking, inventory, accounting, auditing, and reporting of encrypted secure devices
Submitting timely acknowledgements of receipt for received encrypted secure devices Inspecting all incoming accountable encrypted secure devices pouches for evidence of tampering
Executing operational procedures and security procedures required of encrypted secure device custodian
Demonstrated experience with organizational, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
