Network Project Manager
Targeted Years of Experience : 5-7 years
Position is remote but residence within submarket preferred but not required
Responsibilities for Network Project Manager
Analyzes architecture, relationship between systems, and systems flow of end-to-end designs
Interfaces with internal and external Engineering, Operations and Network Planning organizations
Tracks status of Engineering and Operations initiatives
Manages database information for project updates
Provides forecasted timelines and tracks project completion
Shares weekly / monthly project progress with leaders and stakeholders
Hosts and facilitates multiple project team meetings
Ensures compliance with Telecommunication standards and practices
Manages vendors, internal teams, and resources
Works with team to progress projects urgently
Communicates and manages project risks and issues
Operates as a team leader and strategic influencer
Communicates effectively at all levels
MUST HAVE SKILLS for Network Project Manager :
Minimum 5 years experience in :
- Project management, vendor management, or related fields
- Managing multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
- Using Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and database applications
- Minimum 3 years experience in :
- Managing geographically distributed teams
- Communications industry
DESIRED SKILLS for Network Project Manager :
Knowledge of transport networks (layers 1, 2, 3); ROADM and Metro Ethernet
Experience implementing mission critical infrastructure projects
Experience with Slack, Tableau or Salesforce applications
EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS :
4 year degree or equivalent work experience
PMP certification or knowledge of Project Management standards
