We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager for our FDH Electronics division. FDH Electronics is tasked with developing and implementing strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth by creating new business across Eastern USA , offering an opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, and play a pivotal role in shaping our market presence.
They should work to present opportunities that result in the best strategic and financial outcomes for the organization.
The Regional Sales Manager, will report directly to the Vice President of Global Sales. They should be an Innovative self-starter, a proven leader , who is willing to challenge the status quo and have an In-depth understanding of the electronic components industry.
Leveraging the expertise in the industry, identifying new business opportunities, cultivate partnerships, and provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty.
Responsibilities :
- Generates business opportunities, determines the need for cross-division teaming and external strategic partner / alliances to gain business
- Increase market share and retain customers by leveraging FDH Electronic capabilities
- Lead a team of 8 Business Development Managers ( Field Sales ) located in the Region
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share across the region
- Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key clients and suppliers, understanding their needs and providing tailored packaging solutions to meet their requirements
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including marketing, product development, and operations, to align sales initiatives with company objectives and ensure seamless execution
- Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory developments to anticipate challenges and capitalise on emerging opportunities
- Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; and integrating contract requirements with business operations
- Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
- Enhances organization’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests
- Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives
- Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones
- Finding and developing new markets and improving sales
- Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events
- Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills
- Planning your sales strategy and developing key internal and external relationships to a ensure strong foundation for solution selling
- Establishing and fostering relationships with customers to win design opportunities and deal with existing business challenges
- Report out to executive management team regular basis
Basic Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree required with a preferred major in Business or related field
- 10 + years field sales experience in the Military Electronics Industry
- 3-5 years of experience interacting with vendors and customers in a technical and engineering environment
- Highly experience in preparing comprehensive internal quarterly business reviews (QBR), presenting strategic plans and implementation steps to grow sales, demand creation and improve customer service, and ability to lead regular QBRs with major customers that unlock additional sales opportunities
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and IT fluency
- Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task and succeed in a highly matrixed work environment
- Ability to travel extensively in the Region
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans, achieve revenue targets, and drive business growth in a competitive market environment
- Strong leadership qualities, including the ability to inspire and empower team members, foster a collaborative work environment, and drive results
- Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Current or recent industry experience and knowledge of the assigned market / territory (e.g., customers, competition)
- Experience developing sales strategy
- Proven ability to articulate complex strategies and able to execute on them
