Custom Home Sales Specialist
The Custom Home Sales Specialist performs a multifaceted role that includes creating & qualifying prospects, educating
them about our products and processes, identifying suitable properties, and guiding them into the preconstruction
phase. The role requires a strong background in construction sales, exceptional communication skills, and a deep understanding
of the custom home building industry. Direct real estate experience a plus.
Responsibilities :
1. Lead Qualification and Sales :
- Effectively qualify incoming leads generated through referrals, signage, and social media campaigns.
- Educate prospects about the company home models and custom building capacities, products, processes, and unique value proposition.
- Conduct vigilant and well-documented vetting of prospects using a CRM system.
- Keep comprehensive records of interactions, preferences, and details related to each prospect.
- Guide potential clients through the sales process, aiming to secure preconstruction agreements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless transition from prospect to client status.
2. Property Research and Networking :
- Research and identify suitable tracts of land for prospects in need of property.
- Maintain an active inventory of available lots within the area and network with land owners, developers, and other
potential sources.
Work with the building team to assess the suitability of properties based on budget, house plans, and site-specific
constraints.
Provide technical feedback to prospects on whether a property aligns with their vision and project requirements.
3. Customer Experience and Engagement :
As prospects become clients provide personalized support and maintain regular communication
throughout the preconstruction phase (every other week).
Collaborate with the construction coordinator to ensure clients are well-prepared and informed about the
upcoming phases.
- Maintain regular, voice-to-voice or in-person communication to ensure a personal touch.
- Log all conversations and interactions to create a comprehensive history and reference for each client
relationship.
- Contribute insights into customer needs and preferences to enhance project planning and execution.
