Our facility in Whitewater is renovating the main plant to a dedicated stainless steel production facility.
We are currently seeking a Mechanical Assembler - Custom Machine Assembly to support our location in Whitewater, WI. Not your typical production line, you will be building and testing something different every day.
Lots of room for growth into other disciplines if desired! 5S Environment, very clean production and great people work with!
Schedule : 1st shift Monday-Thursday 6am-3pm, Friday 6am-12pm- summer hours subject to change based on season.
Responsibilities :
- Build and test something different everyday
- Interface with engineers and other manufacturing disciplines within the factory to overcome challenges and meet customer's needs
- Review technical drawings
- Operate machines, tooling equipment, fork truck, and overhead cranes for production and assembly
- Support our lean manufacturing process
Required Education / Experience :
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Six months or more related experience
- Mechanical aptitude
- Familiarity with basic hand tools, knowledge of blueprint reading
- Ability to multitask
- Basic computer knowledge
