Weare looking for a MDA Network Controller to work in Scott AFB ILsupporting ourclient.

Clearance : Secret

Salary : $66000

Requirements :

• HighSchool diploma and 24 years of related experience; Associates andBachelors degrees preferred.
• HoldDoD8570 IAT Level 2 certification (Security CE) prior to startdate.
• Abilityto work in a 24 / 7operation.
• Experiencewith one or more of the following : alarm surveillance faultmanagement LAN maintenance performance management.
• Understandingof Satellite Communications (SATCOM) architecture and signalflow.
• Expertisein one or more of the following : routers switches crypto devicesrouting Promina CISCO (multiplexers) Juniper ADTRAN MSPP DWDMOptical Switching SATCOM / MILSATCOM.
• Generalunderstanding of network topologies both transport and IP.
• Familiaritywith the operation of trunk (bulk) MILSATCOM and data encryptiondevices.
• Currentlypossess an active Secret security clearance and be able to obtainand maintain a Top Secret security clearance.

While performing the duties of this job the employeewill regularly sit walk stand and climb stairs and steps. Mayrequire walking long distance from parking to work station.

Occasionally movement that requires twisting at the neck and / ortrunk more than the average person squatting / stooping / kneelingreaching above the head and forward motion will be required.

Theemployee will continuously be required to repeat the same hand armor finger motion many times. Manual and finger dexterity areessential to this position.

Specific vision abilities required bythis job include close distance depth perception and tellingdifferences among colors.

The employee must be able to communicatethrough speech with clients and public. Hearing requirementsinclude conversation in both quiet and noisy environments.

Liftingmay require floor to waist waist to shoulder or shoulder tooverhead movement of up to 20 pounds. This position demandstolerance for various levels of mental stress.

JobDuties :

• Responsiblefor overall network support for customer programs includingmonitoring and evaluating various components of the EnterpriseNetwork.
• Partnerwith engineering team to provide specifications for networkarchitecture evaluating and integrating new technologies to enhancecurrent capabilities and performing needsassessments.
• Analyzeuser requirements concept of operations documents and systemarchitectures to develop solutions for network outages or othersystems issues.
• Provideadvanced troubleshooting and problem resolution of complex networkproblems.
• Interactswith customer and / or senior leadership regarding networkengineering technical considerations and for associated problemsissues or conflicts.
• Maybe required to troubleshoot issues utilizing establishedprocedures.
• Thisis a rotating shift position and must be available for a rotatingshift.
• Verifyequipment is operating within parameters of predeterminedconfigurations and react to alarms as necessary.
• Workwith DoD SATCOM Gateway facilities and deployed operators totroubleshoot and resolve SONET IP and SATCOM network issues.
• ProvideSONET / SDH / IP network support to include configuration of switchesrouters multiplexers media converters andmodems.
• Utilizationof diagrams maps cut sheets and TSOs / SAAs / GAAs as sourcedocumentation for networkconfiguration.
• Utilizeticketing applications to aid in customer problem tracking andresolution in all aspects of the network integral to our customerscommunications.
