About this Role : (remote)

As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring technology delivered is high quality and also designing, developing, and maintaining a robust suite of automation tests.

Your primary focus will be on testing and automating for both customer-facing and internal systems. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will ensure the reliability and efficiency of our software products through automation.

Additionally, you will collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and implement effective testing solutions to enhance operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in building and maintaining QA and automation frameworks and tests. You should possess a deep understanding of software testing practices, continuous integration / continuous deployment (CI / CD) pipelines, and quality assurance methodologies.

Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in automation testing, such as JavaScript is essential. Moreover, you should demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and execute manual test cases and test plans
• Perform and automate regression testing on existing software solutions
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard test automation tools
• Identify and document defects and issues, and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure that software products meet business requirements and quality standards
• Provide input into product design, usability, and functionality to ensure the best possible end-user experience
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies, and investigate new tools and technologies to improve overall product quality
• Collaborate with the Engagement Center to ensure the automation built meets their needs and specifications

Education and Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance, including manual and automated testing
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies and tools such as ADO, Jira or Trello
• Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or Robot Framework a plus
• Experience with insurance servicing processes a major plus
• Experience with call center processes and tooling a major plus, specifically CXOne, AMS360E
