What You Will Do :
- Manage and facilitate accurate compliance in all areas of tax laws and regulations through a series of systems and related controls.
- Review the preparation of Federal and State income tax returns for corporations, partnerships, individuals, trusts & non-profits.
- Serve as a trusted tax advisor to our clients.
- Monitor current and proposed legislative and regulatory tax law developments and communicate the effects of these developments to the tax team.
- Create strategies to capitalize on changes to taxation legislation.
To Be Successful, it Will Help if You Have :
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA Certification or actively pursuing it.
- 5+ years of experience in public accounting and 5+ years of experience in a management role.
- Familiarity with U.S. federal, state and local reporting requirements and possess the ability to communicate the benefits of tax initiatives.
