This is a Full Time position working 35-40 hours a week. Weekend Availability is a Must.
The summary of the job description for the Lead Buyer Position is to assist the manager on duty, store manager, and owner with the efficient operation of the buy process, from start to finish.
The following listed your responsibilities in this position :
- As the Lead Buyer, your main job is buying items from customers. You will be standing and processing buys for the entirety of your shift if needed.
- Lifting & moving up to 50 lbs of product and clothes at a time
- Training and assisting other part time and full time buyers or trainees
- When there are no buys to process, your secondary responsibility will be to move to another area of the buy process; including but not limited to paper tagging, security tagging, hanging, & running product
- Depending on the work load of the buy process, you will be tasked to assist the management with all other aspects of the store operations, including merchandising, organizing, & cleaning
- On a daily basis, you are responsible for processing all missing tagged items
- Providing Outstanding Customer Service to all customers. This will include helping customers at the registers, the buy cash out counter, out on the floor, on the phone, and carrying items to the customer's car, and any other customer service related acitivites
- Continue to learn and stay up to date on current trends, product recalls, need sheets, & styles
A Lead Buyer is expected to work 40 scheduled hours per week. These will include 4 weekdays and 1 day of the weekend. The normal schedule for a Lead Buyer will be an 8 hour shift between the times of 9 : 30 am and 7 pm.
