Overview Purpose Statement / Position Summary : The Nursing Workforce Consultant sets strategic direction, leadership, coordination, and evaluation of programs relating to nursing recruitment across all Patient Care Services areas and in alignment with the strategic workforce development priorities of the SVP, Patient Care Services, and SVP Human Resources.

These programs may include but are not limited to, strategic academic partnerships; strategic recruitment planning, particularly for high vacancy / hard to recruit areas;

standard setting for pre-boarding, onboarding, and orientation; clinical or operational efficiency improvements; and special projects as designated by Patient Care Services or Human Resources Leadership.

Minimum Qualifications / Work Experience : 7 or more years of experience progressively responsible for nursing recruitment, retention, and internal / external collaborative partnerships.

Education / Licensure / Certification : Master’s degree in nursing or work-related field required, doctorate preferred. CA RN licensure required.

Pay Scale Information $99,424.00-$178,963.00 CHLA values the contribution each Team Member brings to our organization. Final determination of a successful candidate’s starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the job or the industry.

The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description.
