Title : Specialist II, MUNIS Human Resources
Under general supervision, responsible for processing and monitoring employee benefits and compensation processes in Munis in accordance with district policy and procedures.
Provides administrative support to the Compensation and Benefits department. Understands the aspects of compensation and benefits within the district.
Essential Functions :

Assists supervisors, timekeepers, and employees who need guidance relating to benefits and compensation, by providing information, procedures in Munis for benefits and compensation and assists with maintaining Munis records;
monitors employee benefits for accuracy, payroll dates, and reviews documents for accuracy.
- Assists with in-service training on Munis procedures, related rules, and prepares special reports as required.
- Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning benefits and compensation in Munis.
- Must have a thorough understanding of federal, state, and district compensation and benefits policies and procedures.
- Maintains familiarity with compensation and benefits terminology.
- Processes personnel documents for benefits, compensation, and various required payouts.
- Generates and analyzes employee benefits and compensation reports upon request.
- Monitors current Munis system status and notify relevant employees of changes.
- Gathers relevant facts, and resolves both routine and complex cases, applying appropriate legal standards, and research disputed cases related to benefits and compensation.
- Assists with solving problems relative to Munis processes and procedures.
- Perform duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE :
Associate' degree or equivalent completed college coursework from a Professional Standards Commission approved accredited college or university in required.
Minimum three (3) years of closely related industry experience and demonstration of proficiency necessary to perform the duties for the position.
