The Opportunity

Homecare Homebase BPMO (Business Project Management Office) is searching for a Business Program Manager who will oversee programs and initiatives for both internal and external clients, thereby achieving specific goals and specific outcomes at specific times.

The Business Program Manager will manage complex projects, programs, and mentor team members. The BPMO Program Manager will work to instill a positive work environment within the department;

expected to encourage other members within the within the organization in order to promote unity and team spirit.

As a BPMO Program Manager, you will play an essential role in ensuring projects are on time and on budget and that all stakeholders, both internally and externally, are apprised of any project updates.

BPMO Program Manager Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Manages a large multi-faceted project / program or multiple large projects at the same time
  • Owns program goals leveraging expertise to inspire a sense of shared purpose within the program team
  • Organizes new challenges and drive business results
  • Works closely with the Risk Management, Finance, Technology and Data Governance Teams to define a project scope and objectives for project members.
  • Meeting or exceeding established productivity and quality standards
  • Assesses project risk potentials and discover potential problems before they occur
  • Prepares, maintains, and submits clear and concise activity / progress reports and time recording / management reports
  • Performing program calls with assigned clients, internal cross-functional calls with internal departments, capturing meeting minutes, and documenting any risks, assumptions, issues, or dependencies
  • Facilitate program kickoff calls and initial onsite meeting (if applicable) to review program methodology and develop program timelines
  • Ensure budget and billing of all programs is accurate and that the program remains on budget
  • Establishing and understanding the scope of a program to guarantee project plans deliver on intent
  • Manage project scope by assessing requirements changes, determining and conveying impact on budget, time and risk
  • Manage client expectations, anticipates operational and tactical risks and tracks them; clarify, identify, and track requirements and issues, remove barriers, resolve minor project issues and escalate to immediate manager where required
  • Through client communication and requested documentation, act as a liaison between client and Homecare Homebase Business Project Management Office, Client Services, Client Success, Implementation, Product Management, Development, and Quality Assurance teams to coordinate resolution to client concerns as outlined in the client project plan and / or contract
  • Securing required resources per the schedule and outlining responsibilities of resources
  • Generating statements of work
  • Full project and program life cycle ownership : successful project and program delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment for one major or several minor initiatives simultaneously
  • Provide mentoring and direction to BPMO team members. Responsibilities include shadowing all assigned mentoring projects meetings, reviewing project documentation, and submitting monthly status report to BPMO leadership with areas of success and improvement
  • Proactively contribute process ideas

Program Manager Qualifications :

  • Require little to no supervision / assistance from BPMO Leadership in regards to managing projects or programs
  • Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands
  • Minimum 6-10 years Project Management Experience
  • PMP Certification strongly preferred, Six Sigma a plus
  • Proficient in MS Office applications preferred, SmartSheets and ServiceNow experience a plus
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence
  • Extensive communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Works well under the pressure of multiple projects and deadlines
  • Recognize and act upon opportunities of encouragement
  • Proven ability to demonstrate a drive for results and accountability of business needs
  • Demonstrate decisiveness in resolving business problems, making decisions and identifying priorities
  • Experience in successfully leading projects and programs to on-time, on-schedule and within budget close
  • Education : this career opportunity requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of some college and significant work experience
