Job Summary
This jobholder is responsible for sustaining and enhancing the Supply Chain reporting, analytics, and optimization capabilities.
They will drive continuous improvement of the end-to-end Supply Chain for Morton Salt with a focus on increasing the effectiveness and efficiency by working internally and with cross-functional stakeholders.
This role will be responsible for automating processes, creating reports, providing analysis and resulting insights, as well as network optimization activities.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for the deployment and execution of Supply Chain Optimization and Analytics vision and capabilities roadmap.
- Support monthly performance reporting for key Supply Chain metrics (production, freight, demand, and inventory) for Integrated Business Planning Process.
- Provide consultation and support to internal partnerships helping enable business processes and increase Customer satisfaction and experience.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to implement business strategies. Will support additional business needs regarding reporting and analytics of the company as needed.
- Support internal continuous improvement projects, with a focus on eliminating waste, reducing cost, driving operational improvements, sourcing optimization, and increased On Time In Full (OTIF) management.
- Lead by example and ensure compliance with Environmental, Safety, Health and other federal, state, local and Company policies, procedures, and requirements.
- Perform other essential duties as assigned by supervisor or defined by Company objectives.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Must have :
- Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or IT.
- Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience
- Associate's degree and 5+ years of experience
- Experience with analytics tool such as : Tableau, Power BI, and Alteryx
Nice to have :
- Experience with SAP ECC, SAP APO, or SAP BW
- Experience with SQL and databases
- Experience with Level of Detail expressions in Tableau or Power BI DAX
