About the role
The Reliability Test Engineer drives the design for reliability on magniX products. This role is responsible for developing magniX’s reliability processes and executing reliability testing / analyses to support program reliability objectives.
A successful candidate implements a Physics-of-Failure approach along with a knowledge of statistical modeling to develop reliability requirements based on system requirements, create reliability plans and carry out reliability testing to support magniX aerospace programs.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Execute reliability testing for systems and components (development of test plans, test fixtures and test reports).
- Provide budget, cost, and schedule for reliability testing.
- Create and manage program Reliability Assessment Plans
- Perform reliability analyses, such as reliability prediction or Weibull analysis, to support the Failure Modes and Effects Analysis.
- Report and track reliability data from testing and in-service.
- Create a failure reporting, analysis, and corrective action system (FRACAS) for certified magniX systems.
- Support the requirements process to develop and decompose reliability requirements for magniX products.
Qualification
- 5+ Years of experience in Reliability Engineering or Reliability Testing
- Experience in developing reliability test plans and performing reliability testing.
- Knowledge of reliability testing methods such as : vibration, fatigue, electrical stress, thermal stress, and accelerated life testing.
- Experience with reliability statistical analysis including lifetime analyses and accelerated factor studies.
- Experience with FRACAS
- Familiarity with reliability predictive handbook methods.
- Familiarity maintenance program tasks and intervals using the Maintenance Steering Group (MSG-3) methodology is a plus.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and follow-up skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to work effectively with others.
Location
Applicants must be willing and able to commute to magniX's location in Everett, Washington.

This position's approximate base salary range is $118,000 - $133,000 per year, depending on years of experience and level of education.
This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.
F.R. 120.15 is required. Under 120.15, a U.S. Person includes U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, or asylees.
As this position requires access to export-controlled data, an appropriate export authorization by the U.S. Government may be required prior to such access.
