In this position...
Use FIS Plant monitoring software to review cycle times, faults, Incident Rates, and other machine conditions for Paint Department application automation, review and follow up automation Kaizen and other projects and installations within the Paint Department.
You'll have...
- Bachelors Degree
- 2 or more years of Paint Application equipment and Controls experience (internship and coop experience will be considered)
Even better, you may have...
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- Strong problem-solving skills, including 8Ds, 4Ds, FMEAs, and DMAICs
- Ability to independently troubleshoot Paint and Sealing application equipment for improvement of OEE, quality and delivery metrics
- Fanuc robot programming, DevcieNet, RS Logics, PLC-5 and Microsoft Office experience
- Ability to read prints, AutoCAD, interpret and modify electrical schematics
- Strong understanding of Paint Application system programming delivery systems, in addition to networking understanding, DH+, Ethernet, and Pier to Pier communication.
- Simulation modeling exposure for Paint Application Robots
- Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma experience
- DMAIC and DMADV (DFSS) Project Methodology experience
- TQM and Kaizen Methods
- Creation of PM Activity records and routines
- Training of Skilled Trades and Engineering Specialists for Paint System use and troubleshooting.

This position is a range of salary grades 6, 7 and 8.
