Job Title : Technical Sales Manager Aerospace Engineering

Location : Onsite in Fort Lauderdale, Florida with some travel to Texas for client visits and business meetings.

We are seeking an experienced Technical Sales Manager to lead contract negotiations and manage various agreements with both domestic and international clients throughout the Americas.

This role will focus on driving long-term growth strategies, identifying new sales opportunities, and fostering strong relationships with customers.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Review requests for proposals, contracts, and agreements to assess terms and conditions, ensuring alignment with company standards and identifying any special requirements.
  • Serve as the primary negotiator for contract terms and conditions, working closely with customers.
  • Evaluate customer contracts and purchase orders to verify that they meet the proposal's requirements.
  • Use Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to summarize and track order details.
  • Contribute to the development of proposals, bids, and pricing strategies, including the use of financial models to optimize pricing and margins.
  • Implement and assist in data collection and analysis to support sales initiatives and pricing strategies.
  • Document and analyze material pricing information to ensure transparency and support strategic pricing decisions.
  • Research and interpret historical sales data to enhance pricing models.
  • Provide support to third-party sales representatives in Central and South America to help secure new business.
  • Attend industry trade shows and assist with planning and executing sales presentations.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and deliver tailored solutions to customers.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with current and potential customers.

Skills and Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a sales role, preferably within the aerospace or a related industry.
  • Proven track record as a skilled negotiator with strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software is highly preferred, and experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with ITAR, FAR, and DFAR regulations is a plus.
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish is required.
  • Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally.
