We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Product Development Manager to join our electronics manufacturing team. This is a permanent position that offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-tech environment where creativity, teamwork, and the ability to meet high standards are rewarded.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of product development, from initial concept through to product launch, ensuring that we continue to innovate and lead the market in our sector.

The ideal Product Manager has experience in amplifiers, as well as a technical background in the R&D, quality, regulatory standards, testing of amplifiers to work closely with the engineering team, as well as focus on product launch timelines and increasing productivity.

This role is ideally sitting in San Clemente, CA but for the ideal candidate, this position can be remote or hybrid (depending on location).

The ideal candidate has electronics, audio or more specifically amplifier and / or speakers experience. This is an amazing, growing company and someone who has worked for a small and large company, has hands on experience and can help this organization to continue scaling is important.

Job Details

Responsibilities :

As a Product Development Manager, your key responsibilities will include :

1. Leading and managing the entire product development process, including research and development (R&D), creating product requirements documents (PRD), and overseeing product launch.

2. Working closely with the R&D team to develop and test prototypes, ensuring that all products meet the highest quality standards and regulatory requirements.

3. Managing project plans and timelines, ensuring that all product development activities are completed on time and within budget.

4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that all product development activities align with our overall business objectives.

5. Leading continuous improvement initiatives to enhance our product development processes and systems.

6. Utilizing project management tools such as Jira and Audio Precision to track and manage product development activities.

7. Communicating effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including presenting product development updates to senior management and clients.

Qualifications :

To be considered for this exciting role, you will need the following :

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in product development within the electronics manufacturing industry.

2. Proven experience in managing the entire product development process, from initial concept through to product launch.

3. Strong knowledge of R&D, including developing and testing prototypes.

4. Experience in managing project plans and timelines, and ensuring that all activities are completed on time and within budget.

5. Familiarity with regulatory standards in the electronics manufacturing industry.

6. Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira and Audio Precision.

7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences.

8. Fluency in Mandarin would be a significant advantage, as our company has strong ties with Mandarin-speaking markets.
