Job Title : Construction Litigation Attorney

Location : (Hybrid : 2 days remote, 3 days in office)

Key Responsibilities :

  • Represent clients in complex construction disputes, including breach of contract, defect claims, and construction lien matters.
  • Litigate cases at both the trial and appellate levels, including drafting motions, conducting discovery, and representing clients in court.
  • Negotiate and resolve construction-related disputes through mediation and arbitration.
  • Provide counsel on risk management, contract drafting, and dispute avoidance for construction projects.
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and developers to navigate complex legal issues in construction.
  • Work closely with colleagues in other practice areas to provide comprehensive legal solutions.

Qualifications :

  • 3-5 years of experience in construction litigation or a related field (experience level determines salary).
  • JD from an accredited law school; top law school is a plus, but not required.
  • Strong litigation and dispute resolution skills.
  • Licensed to practice law in Virginina.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities with a client-service-oriented approach.

Compensation & Benefits :

  • Base salary starting at $145K for first-year associates (commensurate with experience).
  • 1,750 billable hours requirement.
  • Discretionary bonus.
  • Hybrid work model : 2 days remote per week.
