Responsibilities :
- Represent clients in construction-related disputes, including contract claims, defects, and compliance issues.
- Draft, review, and negotiate construction contracts, agreements, and settlement proposals.
- Conduct legal research and prepare comprehensive legal briefs and memoranda.
- Manage all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.
- Collaborate with clients, expert witnesses, and other stakeholders to develop case strategies.
- Attend court hearings and mediations, advocating for clients' best interests.
- Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and case law affecting construction litigation.
- Provide legal counsel to clients on risk management and compliance issues.
- Assist in mentoring junior attorneys and support staff.
Qualifications :
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and admission to the state bar.
- 3-5 years of experience in construction litigation or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of construction law, contract law, and dispute resolution processes.
- Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills.
- Proven ability to manage complex litigation and work independently.
- Strong negotiation and advocacy skills, with a focus on client satisfaction.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and engage effectively with clients.
