Licensed Therapist - Inpatient Addiction Treatment

The Licensed Therapist is a member of a multidisciplinary treatment team, and provides therapeutic services including individual counseling, group counseling, case management, and assessments in this Inpatient Treatment program.
Clinical Supervision is provided, if needed!
RESPONSIBILITIES of the Licensed Therapist - Inpatient Addiction Treatment :
- Complete intakes for new admissions in all required systems (EMR, NJSAMS, etc.), and discharge clients from the same as needed or assigned.
- Assess client’s needs using evidence-based validated assessment tools (i.e. ASI, CASI, etc.).
- Diagnose clients for substance disorders using the DSM criteria.
- Determine appropriate level of care based on ASAM criteria utilizing the Level of Care Index (LOCI)
- Develop a mutually agreed upon treatment plan to address the clients multidimensional needs, and update the plan as determined by policy.
- Provide substance abuse counseling services (i.e. individual counseling, group counseling, crisis intervention) utilizing evidenced based skills (i.e. CBT, MI, etc.).
SCHEDULE for the Licensed Therapist :
Flexible schedule but must be available to work 1 weekend day shift per week.
Choose Tuesdays - Saturdays OR Sundays - Thursdays

REQUIREMENTS for the Licensed Therapist :
MUST have one of the following credentials in New Jersey to be considered for this position - LSW, LCSW, LAC, LPC, LCADC.
