Job Summary : The Vice President of Operations serves as a vital part of our leadership team and will focus on clinical and operational development, optimization, and outcomes within their assigned market.
The ideal candidate in this position will have a strong business acumen, in-depth knowledge of ABA, and a servant leadership attitude.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee all clinical, strategic, and operational matters within a specific region
- Work alongside and oversee clinic directors to ensure clinical quality, clinical integrity, and quality assurance metrics are maintained and that the team performs to GBE standards and expectations
- Develop and maintain support plans related to clinic director / center location job performance and metrics to ensure GBE standards are met across each team member
- Meet with each clinical directors on a regular basis, and other team members as needed, required, or requested
- Provide clinical oversight, guidance, and collaboration opportunities overall in each center (planned and unplanned)
- Utilize and review progress on clinical metrics and outcomes to maintain clinical quality within centers
- Complete ongoing clinical oversight
- Participate in the development of and updating company-wide clinical systems aimed to monitor and improve clinical quality
- Provide Clinical Consultation on cases as needed
- Make recommendations for further supports on center level case consults as needed
- Identify clinical training needs across the teams within the region
- Monitor center data reports to be familiar and ensure operational metrics are met for each center in the region, including but not limited to clinical billable hours, staff utilization, client attendance, parent training, and other billable activities
- Oversee utilization ensuring utilization targets are being met
- Develop action plans for supporting centers to reach company established goals for each location
- Remain familiar with state / region specific payor requirements
- Monitor caseload and building capacity to evaluate ongoing needs of the center and ensure appropriate metrics are met
- Monitor budget across region and each center and support leadership in meeting budgetary goals
- Review budget categories such as outings, center orders, marketing, administrative time, etc
- Partner with and support the marketing team on initiatives within assigned centers / region
- Maintain connections with referral sources and providers in the area
- Ability to create / implement policies for assigned region
- Oversight of scheduling, P&L, clinical outcomes, talent needs within assigned region.
- Attend job fairs / conferences as requested
- Provide oversight and collaboration toward marketing initiatives
- Collaborate with other members of the management team to build and enhance internal strategies.
- Perform other duties and / or tasks as assigned
- 25%-50% travel required
Requirements :
- 5+ years' experience in a related role, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a supervisory position
- Must be geographically located in the state of Tennessee or willing to relocate
- Strong experience in business operations in the ABA setting required
- Active BCBA licensure required, Tennessee LBA preferred
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Robust knowledge of Microsoft Suite
- Ability to interpret and analyze data
- Active driver’s license and / or access to reliable transportation
Work Environment and Physical Requirements :
- Prolonged Sitting : The job involves prolonged periods of sitting at a desk or workstation while performing tasks such as computer work, data analysis, and communication
- Driving : 25%-50 travel may be required for meetings, events, or site visits, but driving is not a primary job requirement
- Computer and Office Equipment : The jobholder will use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, and scanners
- Safety Risks : The office environment is generally low risk, but jobholders should be aware of ergonomic considerations to prevent discomfort or injury from prolonged sitting or improper workstation setup
- Travel Safety : When traveling for meetings or events, jobholders should adhere to safe driving practices and exercise caution in unfamiliar environments
