We are looking for team-oriented candidates with strong problem-solving skills and a keen interest in developing their legal expertise.
As a Legal Intern, you will work closely with the Legal Operations team to support the development and implementation of HYMH's internal Global Legal website.
You will assist in creating a platform that effectively serves the needs of internal business teams and the Legal department.
Your role will involve integrating compliance training plans and schedules into the website, ensuring employees have easy access to required training information.
Additionally, you will develop processes for employees to sign up for legal services, such as DocuSign, and manage SharePoint / Power Apps workflows to support corporate governance and legal policy tracking.
You will also play a key role in developinga Q&A forum where employees can ask legal questions and receive timely answers.
Your responsibilities will include auditing and cleaning up contract records to ensure accuracy and readiness for the upcoming migration to a new Contract Lifecycle Management system.
The successful Legal Intern will have the following Minimum Qualifications :
Enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program, preferably in Law, Business, or a related field.
Strong communication skills with excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal abilities.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal Legal Intern will have the following Preferred Qualifications :
Experience or coursework related to corporate governance, compliance, or legal operations.
Familiarity with SharePoint, Power Apps, or other workflow management tools.
Interest in legal technology and its application in corporate settings.
Key Accountabilities for a Legal Intern :
Assist in the design, development, and implementation of the internal Global Legal website.
Integrate compliance training schedules and legal service sign-ups into the website.
Develop and manage SharePoint / Power Apps processes for corporate governance.
Contribute to the development of a Q&A forum for legal inquiries.
Perform audits and cleanup of contract records in preparation for system migration.
Collaborate with the Legal Operations team and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
