SharePoint / Power Apps Developer - Anika Systems (100% Remote)
Anika Systems, a fast-growing woman-owned small business, is seeking a talented SharePoint / Power Apps Developer to join our expanding Federal team.
We specialize in providing innovative IT solutions for federal government agencies, and this opportunity offers a fully remote work environment.
Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a government suitability clearance.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and Customize SharePoint Solutions : Design, develop, and deploy custom applications, workflows, and solutions using SharePoint (forms, lists, libraries, web parts).
- Power Platform Development : Build business applications and automate processes using Power Apps , Power Automate , and Power BI to enhance SharePoint functionality and integration.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders : Work with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical specifications, and develop tailored SharePoint and Power Platform solutions.
- Solution Design and Architecture : Design SharePoint and Power Platform solutions, including information architecture, site structures, security models, and data integrations.
- System Maintenance & Troubleshooting : Perform regular system maintenance, monitor service requests, manage user permissions, and ensure optimal system performance and security.
- Integration with Other Systems : Integrate SharePoint with external systems and data sources (ERP systems, databases, etc.
ensuring data consistency and integrity.
- Custom Code & Workflow Development : Write custom code, scripts, and workflows using C#, JavaScript , and PowerShell to extend the functionality of SharePoint and the Power Platform.
- Technical Support & Training : Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshoot issues, and deliver training / documentation to promote effective utilization of SharePoint and Power Platform solutions.
- Cross-functional Collaboration : Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and system administrators to deliver successful SharePoint and Power Platform projects.
- Enforce Security Policies : Implement security policies and governance based on client policy guidance.
Required Qualifications :
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or equivalent education and experience.
- 5+ years of experience developing with SharePoint .
- 3+ years of experience developing applications with Power Apps .
- 3+ years of experience developing automations with Power Automate .
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience with Client Object Model (CSOM) , .NET Framework, REST API services , SharePoint Framework (SPFx), JavaScript , jQuery , PowerShell , or DAX .
- Experience working on federal government projects.
- Hands-on experience configuring environment security (Business Units, Teams, Security Roles, etc.) and Power Platform system settings (Data Management, Auditing).
- Certifications such as PL-100, PL-200 , or PL-900 are preferred.
Tools & Skills :
- Tools : MS SharePoint Online, MS Power Apps, MS Power Automate, MS Visual Studio.
- Technical Skills : Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript , static web page creation, working with lists, data connections, and querying data.
- Agile Methodology : Familiarity with Agile processes and methodologies.
- Problem-Solving & Collaboration : Strong ability to solve problems, collaborate with others, and align work to business needs.
- Detail-Oriented : A focus on quality and detail is essential.
- Reporting Services : Experience with SSRS , Power BI , and testing / validation is preferred but not required.
