Description :

Applies protective masking (areas not to be plated) to parts according to customer specifications.s. 1. Ensure timely production of high quality products to customer specifications a.

Apply tape, liquid masking, plugs, etc. to parts in accordance with established practices and procedures to satisfy customer specifications.

b. Follow written and verbal work instructions to ensure accuracy of each project c. Select and use proper tools (paint brush, plug size etc)The Plater performs metal finishing of customer supplied product.

The core services include using a variety of metal dips (E-nickel, high phos, anodize, gold, silver, tin, tin lead, Cad, copper etc.

for diverse product lines and industries.Primary Job Responsibilities : c. Performs plating tasks using standard racks, stringer racking method & plating barrels;

using simple formula & specificationsd. Perform accurate and timely process cycle calculationse. May assist in testing, mixing & maintaining solutions under direct guidancef.

Regulates current & temperature as prescribed in process travelerg. May rack, un-rack and pack product correctly when required.

h. May be trained in cleaning, passivation, plating, anodizing and chemical conversion coating, stripping and rework of non-conforming product.

• Possess strong math skills

• Ability to stand for 8 hours shift, walk, reach without restrictions
