URUS is seeking a Corporate Accountant to join its corporate finance team! The focus is to handle the day to day accounting functions of the holding company.
Responsibilities
- Perform general accounting functions :
- Accounts receivable and billings
- Accounts payable
- Monthly account reconciliations
- General ledger entries and analysis
- Issuance, monitoring and reconciliation of company credit card accounts
- Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements, including interpreting results, comparing performance with forecasts and budgets
- Budgeting and forecasting reporting
- Income tax return requests as needed
- Assist with annual audit requests
Requirements & Qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant accounting experience
- Excel experience / knowledge
- Experience with ERP systems
- Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- Basic understanding of financial statements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to learn software easily
- Creative problem solving
