CTS Health Services is a community mental health services center that specializes in a holistic approach to health and wellness for children, parents, and adults of varying circumstances and mental challenges.
We provide one-on-one behavioral interventions for our clients and their support circles to help our clients navigate through life within their community at their highest level.
We are urgently seeking passionate, authentic, and motivated individuals to provide one-on-one behavioral interventions with insured children, youth and / or adults receiving specialty mental health services in the community.
Requirements :
Education and Qualifications of a Mental Health Professional (MHP) :
- Spanish-speaking or Polish-speaking ideal
- Mental Health Professional (MHP) credentialing
- High School diploma WITH 5 years’ mental health experience, OR Bachelor's in a human service field (Social Work, Counseling, Human Services, Psychology, etc.) or a related field
Responsibilities of a Mental Health Professional (MHP), but not limited to :
- Providing direct behavioral health services and supports to individual consumers based on the goals established
- Delivering services in various environments including, homes, schools, homeless shelters, etc.
- Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of interventions as evidenced by symptom reduction and progress towards goals
- Documenting interactions with consumers within 24 hours of service delivery in electronic health record (EHR) system (OnTarget)
- Maintaining the flexibility to respond to consumer needs and crisis situations beyond the agency's normal working hours.
Training will be at Northside Office (Belmont Cragin).
Requirements
Education Requirements to qualify as a Mental Health Professional (MHP) Case worker :
- Bachelor’s degree in a human service field with less than one year of full-time education.
- Post-graduate degree accumulated mental health, developmental disabilities, and substance abuse (MH / DD / SA) experience with the population served.
- One year of documented experience in the delivery of Behavioral Health treatment to children and / or adolescents.
- Substance abuse professional with less than one year of full-time education and accumulated supervised experience in alcoholism and drug abuse counseling.
- High School diploma with 5 years experience working in the mental health capacity
