Position Title : Employer Manager
Reports to : Deputy Director
Job Classification : Full-time, Exempt
Work Hours : Monday-Friday 8-5 (some special events are required and scheduling flexibility to accommodate is possible)
Wages : $50,000 annual salary

Onsite, nationally accredited Child Development Center is available for parents to enroll children in full-time care from 6 months through kindergarten.
Responsibilities :
1. Manage relationships with and recruit various employers to provide work-based learning
activities to clients
2. Ensure that client activities on the job provide required skill sets and experience based on
client interests and goals.
3. Ensure that client behavior and performance meets the requirements of the employer, working
closely with Relationship Manager, Deputy Director, and other constituents, as needed.
4. Assist employer partners in development of training plans and scheduling and monitoring of
client progress.
5. Ensure that employer and employee compliance meets regulatory or funding requirements.

6. Screen and monitor employer requirements and compliance with safety and wage and hour
laws.
7. Ensure appropriateness of services and thoroughness of documentation.
8. Educate and recruit work-based learning clients to employer opportunities.
9. Document all client interactions and service linkages within prescribed time frames.
10. Provide follow-up service to determine both the quality and quantity of the service provided.
11. Compile, record, and prepare reports within prescribed time frames.
12. Maintain files to various contract specifications.
13. Plan, develop, and implement programming activities that are appropriate and of interest to
participants and employers.
14. Develop and coordinate community resources; other service providers and support
organization that focus on employer needs.
15. Attend community events, and neighborhood meetings as needed.
16. Conduct outreach activities to involve more participants in programming which could include
offering off-site services, home visits, and preparation of a monthly newsletter and monthly
calendar of events.
17. Comply with all policies, procedures and documentation standards of Flanner House.
18. Maintain positive and effective professional relationships with both internal staff and external
persons.
19. Attend regularly scheduled administrative meetings and agency-wide staff meetings.
20. Oversee the collection and compilation of reporting data for all clients. Assist in submission of
funding reports and data management, as required by funding sources and partner
organizations.
21. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (minimum of 5-years experience in work-based
learning or adult education).
2. Excellent written and oral communication skills
3. Detail oriented, excellent organizational skills
4. Experience working with a diverse client and staff population.
5. Ability to handle crisis situations and high volume of client flow.
6. Ability to maintain confidentiality of client and employer information.
7. Understanding of adult education and employment principles, techniques, and their
application to social problems.
8. Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office Suite and data management standards.
9. Ability to work with minimal supervision and to use good judgment in decision making.
