Ultimate Staffing is hiring for an Administrative Coordinator for an amazing healthcare provider located in South San Francisco, CA.

This in a long term temporary assignment and is Monday through Friday, Dayshift hours and the pay range is $22 to $24 / hr.

PRIMARY FUNCTION : The Agency Coordinator is responsible for processing and coordinating all aspects of daily support to the agency team (field and office personnel) to ensure smooth operations, effective optimal care delivery of services to patients, and establish and maintain positive relationships with patients, patient's family, external providers and clients.

POSITION OVERVIEW :

  • Ensures assisting, monitoring, and coordinating compliance with all state, federal, and Joint Commission regulatory requirements.
  • Ensures patient information is coordinated timely and follows agency policies and procedures.
  • Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with the agency team members, field staff, current and potential clients, and external providers.
  • Work closely with each agency team member and external provider to support the seamless transition of patients to home care by providing, processing, and coordinating complete, accurate, and compliant information and documentation.
  • Coordinate and process services provided by the agency to ensure regulatory compliance, including processing patient visit schedules, referrals, benefits eligibility, orders, and authorizations necessary to deliver care service.
  • Coordinate timely all communication as the point of contact between the agency, patients, clients, and external providers
  • Ensures maximum third-party reimbursement through direct oversight of insurance verification, schedule, documentation, orders, and authorization processes.
  • Coordinates and assist patients and patients' family in understanding service payment responsibilities and coverage.
  • Coordinate with the agency team to build and monitor patients, patients' families, and clients' perceptions
  • Provides feedback to agency management, including identifying opportunities for additional or improved services to meet clients' needs.
  • Maintains comprehensive working knowledge of contractual relationships and ensures patient care delivery according to contract provisions.
  • Maintains comprehensive working knowledge of resources and assists clients in accessing sources should services not be provided
  • Assist in maintaining agency accreditation and certification standards and coordinate with appropriate parties.
  • Coordinate and participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness and efficacy of patient care services provided.
  • Answers incoming phone calls courteously and professionally.
  • Other duties assigned to support agency projects

JOB REQUIREMENTS :

  • Minimum of 2 yrs. experience in a medical setting in either a patient care or administrative role is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of the home care environment strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of MS Office, Suite, Internet Explorer, and professional telephone protocol.
  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology
  • Able to deliver effective results and meet tight deadlines and targets.
  • Excellent customer service and communication / interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with high precision, paying attention to detail to achieve the high accuracy levels required and timely follow-up and close-out of all matters.
  • Ability to communicate well orally and in writing to minimize confusion and additional concerns.
