Payroll Specialist
LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a Payroll Specialist in Richmond, VA. This is a great contract opportunity in a fast paced, challenging, and rewarding environment.
This role involves providing payroll support to a growing company in Richmond, VA. Our ideal candidate will be a self-starter with wonderful communication skills.

Responsibilities :
- Process bi-weekly payroll for the company
- Provide daily assistant to employees regarding pay related issues and questions
- Process additional compensation requests
- Process short term and long term disability payments
- Resolve any payroll related issues
- Maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Set up all new tax jurisdictions
- Monitor leave accruals
- Act as a backup for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Perform audits on employee data
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
- Minimum 3 years of payroll experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- QuickBooks experience is preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail
Employment Type : Contract, Full Time
Work Hours : Monday-Friday, 8 : 30AM-5 : 30PM
