Job Title : Analyst, Payroll Systems
St. Paul, MN
This position is hybrid requiring two days per week in office and typical working hours are 8 : 00 - 4 : 30.
Summary
Seeking a Payroll Systems Analyst in our Corporate Payroll Operations department to develop, lead and manage tasks related to the implementation and maintenance of Payroll systems.
What you'll be doing
- Serve as Payroll system support to drive improvement of payroll system functionality.
- Provide subject matter expert (SME) assistance to functional end-users, including knowledge transfer and troubleshooting time and attendance systems (T&A) issues.
- Explain and demonstrate various aspects of current and future system functionality. Assist with the review of new Lawson Software and T&A systems releases, fixes, and updates to determine applicability.
- Troubleshoot, test, and diagnose payroll system issues and advise on recommended solutions.
- Use analytic tools to test and verify the accuracy of payroll results, coordinating with appropriate staff for necessary corrections and adjustments.
What you'll need to have
- 4 or more years of experience in payroll, project management or closely related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. In lieu of the degree, 8 plus years of payroll experience or experience in a closely related field.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Additional preferred qualifications
- FPC or CPP Certification
- Experience working in a corporate payroll department
- Working knowledge of HRIS systems, including Lawson Software, Infor WFM, WFS, SAP SuccessFactors, and / or Kronos
- Project management experience
