Sr. Staff Engineer AWS & C# Direct Hire No Sponsorship Available

- Location : Remote with quarterly travel to Wisconsin

Our Wisconsin based client is seeking a Sr. Staff Engineer to help modernize and re-architect systems in AWS . You’ll collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, and QA Engineers to drive innovation and scalability.
Core Responsibilities :
- Architect and develop cloud solutions using AWS and C#.
- Lead efforts to modernize legacy systems into scalable AWS environments.
- Mentor engineers on AWS best practices and Cloud Native development.
- Write and maintain unit / integration tests.
- Participate in code reviews and support code deployments.
Requirements :
- 10+ years of experience in C#, SQL, JavaScript, .NET Framework / Core.
- Extensive AWS Cloud development expertise.
- Strong background in domain-driven design, microservices, and event-driven architecture.
- Agile (Scrum) experience.
Bonus Skills :
- AWS certifications (Certified Developer - Associate preferred).
- SaaS, actuarial science, or insurance background.
- Familiarity with HIPAA / PCI compliance.
- DevOps knowledge and test-driven development.
