Your responsibilities include :
- Driving GNAT Pro for Rust forward by identifying capabilities that will enable us to meet customer needs, stand out in the marketplace, and enter new industrial domains related to our core strategy
- Advocating for Rust within our user base to people currently using C / C++
- Identifying new potential opportunities in relevant industrial domains
- Being the face of AdaCore in the Rust community by ensuring that we are properly represented and identifying potential opportunities
- Mentoring service-team members in Rust as we build up our Rust-related service offerings
- Communicating daily with other members of the product-management team, sales, engineering, and marketing to ensure product goals are realized
Your qualification and skills must include
- Master in computer science or equivalent
- 10+ years of experience in the software industry
- 3+ years of experience in Product Management
- Deep knowledge, experience and passion for Rust
- Excellent communication skills
- Confidence working with stakeholders, including executives, across the company to push GNAT Pro for Rust forward
- Demonstrated ability to work in a cross-functional team
The following are not mandatory but are considered a plus
- Knowledge of other high-integrity programming languages such as Ada and C / C++
- Comfortable with a Unix development environment (git / svn, shell, etc.);
- Experience using the Python programming language in a production environment;
