We are searching for ahighly skilled and experienced electronic repair technician for ourCharlotte NC office to perform component level repairs and testingof a wide range of industrial electronic and electrical equipmentsuch as PLCs operator interfaces motor drives and servomotors.

Depending on your capabilities you may also be asked to carry outfield service troubleshooting and systems installation work withtravel mostly local.

You MUST be able to work on your owninitiative and be able to accurately document your work and createtest procedures for other technicians to follow.

RequiredSkills

  • Strong technicalskills; ability to learn and understand AFI Systems processes andprocedures
  • Required to bring your own tools asspecified by the hiring manager though shop tools are alsoavailable
  • Strong Computerproficiency
  • Ability to multitask to workindependently or as a team at fast pace
  • Detailoriented good near vision
  • Must possessexcellent troubleshooting abilities
  • Demonstrate good soldering skills
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Problemsolving abilities
  • Good communicationskills

RequiredExperience

  • High SchoolDiploma and Technical School Certification required (relatedfield)
  • One to Three years related experienceand / or training
  • Technical or Industrialproduct knowledge a plus
