Schedule Notes : Direct Hire, must have leadership experience. Looking for someone interested in growth opportunities. Weekend Shift Sat-Sun a-p (Must work every weekend);

One day during the week. Medical Tech required; must have generalist exp MLS ASCP certification and clinical laboratory required.

Duties :

• Perform laboratory analysis on received specimens, providing clinical information for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases.
• Ensure overall quality, efficiency, and safety in the performance of assigned technical duties.
• Adhere to quality assurance guidelines for equipment and work area, documenting corrective action to any non-conforming event.
• Prepare reagents, maintain an adequate supply of materials for test procedures, and manage inventory effectively to reduce departmental waste / expense.
• Exercise clinical judgment in assessing priorities, identifying, problem-solving, and offering solutions to test systems through appropriate channels.
• Assist with review and revision of procedures and documentation related to accreditation, adhering to all regulatory requirements.
• Maintain clear, real-time communication shift-to-shift and with leadership regarding issues, concerns, or problems affecting patient care or department operation.
• Participate in planning and implementing changes through staff meetings, task forces, or projects.
• Participate in competency assessment programs.

Skills :

• ASCP registered Medical Technologist or equivalent.
• years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

o Medical Tech required; must have generalist exp MLS ASCP certification and clinical laboratory required.

• Proficient in ASCP, OSHA, real-time testing procedures.
• Additional skills : Documentation, problem-solving, corrective action, laboratory quality assurance, inventory management.

Education :

ASCP registered Medical Technologist or equivalent.
