LHH Recruitment Solutions (Formerly Accounting Principals) has partnered with one of the leading Franchise Technology Providers in DFW to hire a Business Finance Analyst on a permanent basis paying between $80K-$100K, depending on experience.
This crucial role will serve as the primary point of contact between the Marketing, Billing, and Accounting teams, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
The ideal candidate will perform detailed financial analysis on marketing margins, handle necessary journal entries, and work closely with the billing team to ensure accurate invoicing for marketing-related charges.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the primary contact for the Marketing team on all finance-related matters.
Facilitate seamless communication and collaboration between the Marketing, Billing, and Accounting teams.
Perform precise and timely journal entries related to marketing activities.
Reconcile marketing expense accounts to ensure alignment with the general ledger.
Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
Conduct comprehensive analysis of marketing margins, identifying trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
Prepare and present financial reports and dashboards to Marketing and Finance leadership.
Monitor and analyze marketing spend against budget and forecast, providing actionable insights.
Work with the Billing team to ensure accurate invoicing of customers for marketing-related charges.
Review and verify billing data, resolving discrepancies and ensuring compliance with contracts.
Support the development and implementation of billing processes and systems to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications
Education and Experience :
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in accounting or financial analysis, preferably within a marketing or advertising environment.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
Proficiency in accounting software (, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
