Responsibilities :

• Provide technical leadership and build high performing teams within your organization, including mentoring junior team members and providing technical support for engineers on the team.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and other disciplines to explore the next generation of shopping experiences on TikTok.
• Be responsible for building an intuitive and reliable shopping experience, including browsing product details, check-out, shopping, return, refund, etc.
• Be responsible for Promotion and Campaign, building platforms and tools for merchants, clients, and business to manage campaigns, deliver the best results, and receive actionable insights.

Qualifications

• BS / MS degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline with 5 years work experience.
• 1 year of experience managing or tech-leading a software engineering team.
• Deep understanding of the Android framework.
• Proficiency in Java and / or Kotlin.
• Experience with performance and reliability on mobile platforms; e-commerce experience is a plus.
• Proven data analysis skills, able to identify product opportunities from technical metrics analysis.

Preferred Qualification :

Good understanding of business, technical abstraction and system module design.

Job Information :

Compensation Description (annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $212800 - $389500 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.

Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses / incentives, and restricted stock units.
