Aerotek is accepting resumes for an aviation and aerospace repair facility in Milwaukee, Wisconsin seeking an Inspector with AS9110 experience.
Job Description
Responsible for ensuring all inspections are properly performed and recorded, and all records are properly executed. Responsible for the certification of aerospace parts, maintaining strict organization of the technical library, and liaising with Technical Data providers to ensure the possession of the current Technical Data before performing work.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all inspections are properly performed and recorded.
- Certify aerospace parts.
- Maintain strict organization of the technical library (OEM(s)’, Authorities’, and Repair Station’s Technical Publications).
- Liaise with Technical Data providers to ensure possession of current Technical Data.
- Issue, revise, and update internal Repair Station’s technical publications.
- Issue internal Temporary Revisions and incorporate them into respective manuals.
- Merge library contents into the ERP system and / or revise the data in the ERP system.
- Communicate information regarding revisions to respective users.
- Archive Work Order Packages.
- Manage the Repair Station’s Calibration Program.
- Provide administrative support for the Chief Inspector (., issuing PO(s) for waste material).
- Support AS9110 approval as needed.
Essential Skills
- Experience in aviation inspection and quality control.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and using calipers.
- Quality assurance experience.
- Experience with AS9110 or similar standards.
- 3+ years of experience as an inspector.
- ITAR compliance.
- Experience with blueprints and technical data.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
A&P license (nice to have).

Work Environment
1st shift from 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM, typically working 40 hours a week, with potential additional hours on Saturdays. Work in a clean and temperature-controlled service center located in the north part of Milwaukee.
