Our client, a distinguished law firm recognised for its excellence in corporate and transactional law, is seeking a Corporate Partner to join their esteemed team.
Their Corporate practice offers a comprehensive range of legal services, guiding clients through every stage of their business lifecycle with strategic counsel and personalised solutions.
Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage the corporate practice, providing strategic direction and oversight to attorneys.
- Provide comprehensive legal advice and guidance to clients on a wide range of corporate matters.
- Serve as outside general counsel, offering ongoing support and counsel to clients to address their day-to-day legal needs.
- Negotiate and draft commercial contracts and transactions, ensuring alignment with client objectives and industry best practices.
- Advise on joint ventures, strategic alliances, mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, facilitating successful transactions for clients.
- Develop and implement employee stock ownership plans and provide private equity services to clients.
- Assist clients in developing exit strategies and succession plans to achieve their long-term goals.
- Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, providing insightful legal counsel tailored to their specific needs and objectives.
Qualifications :
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Florida bar.
- Extensive experience practicing corporate and transactional law, with a focus on providing strategic counsel to clients.
- Strong understanding of corporate governance principles and compliance requirements.
- Proven track record of successfully negotiating and structuring complex commercial transactions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Business acumen and ability to provide legal advice aligned with client's business objectives.
- Experience managing and mentoring junior attorneys is preferred.
