Accounting Manager - Real Estate Company (South of Boston)
Location : South of Boston, MA
Position Type : Full-Time, In-Office (5 days / week)

They are seeking an experienced and dedicated Accounting Manager to join their team and help drive their financial success.
Position Overview : As the Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our company.
This role requires a detail-oriented and proactive individual who can manage the day-to-day accounting functions, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and provide strategic financial insights to support our growth.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A / R, A / P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
- Research technical accounting issues for compliance
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CMA preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in the real estate industry
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
