Staff Roadway / Highway Engineer

We are looking to hire an entry-level professional with 0-2 years of experience to work with the Transportation group in our Cherry Hill, NJ office.
Other office locations will be considered.
Responsibilities :
- Assist with preparation of various roadway engineering designs and tasks, such as site data collection; preparation of detailed roadway plans, ADA curb ramp design plans, grading, erosion control, drainage plans, cross-sections and profiles, general notes, dimensioning etc.
- Assist in preparation of preliminary engineering / concept plans, permitting drawings used for submission to state and municipal clients, inland wetlands commissions etc.
under the supervision of a Project Manager.
- Assist in preparation of contract bid documents, including plans, technical specifications, and construction quantity and cost estimates
- Provide responsive client service and strong communication, both internally and externally
- Maintain organized project files
Required Experience :
- Fundamentals of Engineering Certificate (EIT)
- BS in Civil Engineering
- 0-2 years’ experience
- Experience using CADD (MicroStation / Open Roads and / or AutoCAD / Civil 3D) preferred
- Strong communication skills
