WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR :
- Designs and develops programs, instructional content, and learning materials that support individual and organizational business results and the culture initiatives at Honor Credit Union.
- Creates, maintains, and facilitates instructional programs.
- Identifies and maintains processes that support the continuous improvement of learning programs and initiatives.
- Works closely with stakeholders to align on learning objects and ensures quality delivery and implementation of programs.
- Creates effective instructional and support materials that align instructional design with adult learning methodologies.
- Acts as a culture champion who exemplifies Honor's Commitments, supports the One Page Strategy, and ensures programs are aligned with the organization's culture.
- Remains current on emerging learning practices and leadership and talent development trends to bring cutting-edge learning approaches and practices to the organization.
- Responsible for delivering and supporting the development of engaging trainings through a variety of modalities, including but not limited to;
live, virtual, or classroom-based instructor-led training. This will include eLearning, facilitated online discussion, coaching, new employee training, on-the-job training and training support resources that focus on building high-performance and organizational effectiveness.
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU :
EDUCATION / CERTIFICATION :
- College degree is required; or an equivalent combination of training and work experience.
- CPLP Certification (Certified Professional in Learning and Performance) preferred.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :
Three to five years of similar or related experience. Experience working with industry best practices such as adult learning theory, instructional design methodologies (e.
g. ADDIE, ATD Standards) and with Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT) and / or eLearning.
Experience with project management methodology preferred.
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES :
- Must have demonstrated ability to keep finances in order.
- Understanding of job functions and operations at all levels of the company.
- Knowledge of training systems and resources.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and presentation (written / verbal communication) skills.
- Independent thinker with a strong focus on processes & attention to detail.
- Good project management skills.
- Ability to work effectively & supportively within a team environment with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated commitment to integrity and respect.
- Must be highly detailed.
