Walmart People Tech is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Distinguished Technical Program Manager. You will be responsible of spearheading some of People Tech’s key projects, managing and leading collaboration with customers, stakeholders and engineering teams.

People Technology is one of the major segments of Walmart Global Tech’s Enterprise Business Services, which is invested in building a compact, robust organization that includes service operations and technology solutions for Finance, People, and the Associate Digital Experience.

What you'll do :

This is a vital role with significant growth prospects. You will drive the success of complex, cross functional projects and programs within the People Tech domain.

Some of this role key responsibilities are but not limited to :

Project planning, scoping, dependency alignment, and scheduling

Leads and brokers agreement on end-to-end, high-level system / solution design of medium / high-complexity systems through an understanding of end-to-end systems.

Coordinate project teams and stakeholders

Track project progress and performance

Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards.

Manage project budget and resource allocation.

Communicate project status updates to relevant stakeholders.

Proactively identify and resolve project issues and conflicts.

Guides and influences program participants / stakeholders to focus on decision points, options for end outcomes, and solutions that unblock / de-risk and keep programs on track.

Develop and implement project management best practices and methodologies.

Mentors team members

Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement.

Bellevue, Washington US-11075 : The annual salary range for this position is $156,000.00-$312,000.00

Bentonville, Arkansas US-10735 : The annual salary range for this position is $130,000.00-$260,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

• Option 1 : Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related area and 7 years’ experience in engineering, engineering program management, technical program management, product management, or related area.
• Option 2 : 9 years’ experience in engineering, engineering program management, technical program management, product management, or related area.

Preferred Qualifications...

Certification in Project Management., Master’s degree in Business Administration, with specialization in strategy, supply chain, finance, information systems, or related area and 5 years’ experience in product design.
